Nancy Baker holds an M.A. in English Literature. She taught college English for several years, including courses in composition and early American Literature, as well as designing and teaching courses in the Novel as an Agent of Social Change and Environmental Literature. She has also taught college-level physical geography and worked as a volunteer lobbyist for child protection, storm spotter, taxi driver, medical transcriptionist, office manager, chauffeur, tutor, forklift operator, and inventory control clerk..
She currently works as a free-lance writer and researcher.
